What is PLAY IN THE DAY?

It's a creative arts workshop for 5 to 16 year olds, involving drama games and strategies supported by rap poetry and percussion instruments. It may also involve painting, clay modelling and story telling.

The drama themes we cover include important issues such as anti-bullying, race equality, human rights or plays that merely involve dressing up and having lots of fun. Working together to create the drama, we explore ideas and collectively devise a one-off play or a selection of improvisations and rap poetry to perform to parents and friends at the end of the day.
